County Manager – Victor J. Carpenter
- Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work of County departments and functions.
- Represents the County in meetings with representatives from other jurisdictions,
private industry, and members of the general public.
- Works with County Council in determining county strategic plans and annual goals
and objectives.
- Implements the policies and actions taken by County Council in administering County
business and developing policies and programs.
- Explains policies, procedures, ordinances, and regulations to County employees and
the general public.
- Oversees preparation of the annual budget, submits it to County Council and oversees
its administration and approval.
- Works with County Council in determining county strategic plans and annual goals
and objectives.
- Prepares budget recommendations and monitors expenditure control during the fiscal
year.
County Attorney –Charles M. Watson, Jr.
- Supervises, plans, implements, and administers the legal affairs of Greenwood County.
- Provides general legal advice and oversight to the various departments.
- Handles litigation involving Greenwood County in regulatory, administrative, judicial, and appellate proceedings.
- Works with the County Engineer on ways to identify and resolve boundary line issues along Lake Greenwood.
Clerk to the Council – Ketekash Crump-Lukie
- Assists County Council members by performing a variety of secretarial and clerical
duties; assists in budget preparations, makes travel arrangements.
- Receives, reviews, prepares and/or submits a variety of documents such as billing
invoices, accident/incident reports, insurance documents, payment requests, Council
agendas, minutes, requisitions, public notices, resolutions, ordinances, memos,
contracts, deeds, etc.
- Establishes and maintains an efficient filing system for minutes, correspondence,
ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds for property, etc.
- Schedules use of the Council’s chambers and County Council conference rooms.
